Kaiyo Mizunara Oak Japanese Whisky (75cl)

Kaiyo Mizunara Oak is a Japanese whisky in a 750ml bottle, matured in mizunara oak. It was distilled and matured in Japan. After maturation the casks make a three-month sea voyage from Osaka to Liverpool before bottling, so the whisky can interact further with the wood. The nose offers ground spices, vanilla sponge cake, honey, brown sugar and aromatic woods with incense. On the palate come pastry, egg custard and allspice, then a wave of vanilla creaminess. The finish is long, with fading spices.
