Kaiyo The Rye is a 10 year old Japanese whisky from the Wood Library Series, finished in rye barrels. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings gingerbread, bananas Foster, caramel, red berries and milk chocolate, with a scattering of rye spices. On the palate come caramel, malt, mint, dill and rye spices, moving on to whole-grain crackers, peppercorn, chocolate, toffee and malt.
