A 7 year old Japanese whisky from Kaiyō, matured in Mizunara oak casks. The casks are bespoke, handmade from slow-growth, air-seasoned wood from hand-selected trees, a choice made because of the delicate grain of Mizunara.
The spirit is matured in the traditional way for many years before it makes its sea voyage.
It is typically described as honey, coconut and vanilla.
