On the palate it is smooth, with sustained acidity and soft tannins giving balanced structure, suited to relatively young drinking. The finish leans fresh rather than robust, with fruity returns and gentle persistence.
It suits everyday pairings such as cured meats, simple pasta dishes, white meats and medium to fresh cheeses, and can be served slightly cool, around 14-16 °C.
