Kamiki is a lightly peated blended malt made in the ancient city of Nara, Japan. It is a blend of Japanese malt whiskies, mixed with pure spring water and bottled without chill filtration. The whisky is matured in casks of Yoshino cedar, the Japanese wood long used to build temples, and is rested in them twice. It is made in small batches. Kamiki means 'breath of God' in Japanese, a nod to the Omiwa shrine in Nara. The shoulders of the bottle echo the roof of a Shinto shrine.
