Kamiki Maltage Intense Wood (75cl)

Kamiki Intense Wood is a Japanese blended malt whisky, matured in barrels made from yoshino-sugi, also known as Japanese cedar. It comes in a 75cl bottle. It is the same whisky as Kamiki Original, given six months in total in the wood to bring out a stronger, more intense cedar character. The flavours are cinnamon, toasted tobacco, cedar and toasted honey. On the nose there is dark chocolate with strong cedar and sandalwood. The palate shows icing sugar and raisin cake alongside peaty oak, and the finish is long, with a touch of green tea.
