Kamiki Sakura Wood (50cl)

Kamiki Sakura Wood is a Japanese blended whisky, described as the first to be finished in Japanese cherry wood. It combines Japanese whiskies with whiskies from overseas, and the blend is mixed with pure spring water and is not chill-filtered. The spirit rests twice, first in Japanese cedar casks and then in casks made from sakura, the cherry tree that marks the start of spring in Japan. It comes in a 50cl bottle. The nose offers ripe banana, candied chestnuts, cinnamon and pine, with a warm woodiness like a sauna. The palate has sandalwood, delicate spice and sweet cherries, and the finish is floral and spring-like.
