Kanosuke Limited Edition 2025 is a Japanese whisky from Kagoshima, bottled at 59% ABV. It blends Kanosuke single malt with Hioki pot still whiskies, building on the Double Distillery release.
The whiskies were aged for up to five years in ex-bourbon, ex-shochu, new American oak and sherry barrels. This edition adds whisky aged in ex-rum casks for the first time.
The nose has stewed apricot, jammy plum, cinnamon and pastry cream. The palate brings ripe orchard fruit, crème brûlée and ginger candy, and the finish recalls lightly salted caramel.
