This is a Karuizawa single cask Japanese malt, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2016 at a cask strength of 58.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured entirely in a single Sherry cask and comes from a run of 320 bottles. The whisky has a deep, dark amber colour, and the label carries Geisha artwork. It is described as rich in dark dried fruit, espresso, aromatic spices and polished wood, with a little earthy peat smoke, and a long, bold, warming finish.
