Kavalan Classic is a whisky from Taiwan, made in the mountains of Yilan and sold in a 50cl bottle. The humid climate and steady temperatures there speed up maturation, and the whisky is aged in wooden casks. The nose offers tropical fruit such as mango and banana, with soft vanilla and honey. The palate is silky and full-bodied, moving through caramel and sweet spices to a slight touch of smoke. It can be drunk neat or with a few drops of water.
