Kavalan ex-Bourbon Oak is a Taiwanese whisky made by taking Solist ex-Bourbon and reducing it with Kavalan spring water to 46%. The dilution softens the alcohol edge and gives a pale golden whisky with a gentle sweetness.
The nose is clean and fresh, with tropical fruit, vanilla, coconut and spices. On the palate it is soft and well balanced, with natural sweetness, vanilla and oak spices, round and silky in texture.
