Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Oak Whisky is a Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan Distillery in Yilan County, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon American white oak casks that have been stripped, toasted and re-charred.
It is the distillery's Solist ex-Bourbon whisky diluted to 46% with distillery spring water, which the brand describes as sweet, silky and smooth.
Fresh vanilla and sweet coconut lead, with tropical fruit, pineapple first, then honey, citrus and a frame of American oak.
