Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak is a Taiwanese malt whisky brought down to 46% with Kavalan spring water. It is a deep mahogany colour, and its easy character suits sharing with friends and family.
It is clean and complex, with layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spice, touched by marzipan and vanilla. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with a natural sweetness. Steak, chocolate and nuts are suggested as matches.
