Kavalan – Single Malt (70cl)

Kavalan Single Malt is a Taiwanese whisky in a 70cl bottle, made by a small family-run producer that began making whisky in 2006. The warm climate lets whisky mature in cask much faster than in cold, windy Scotland, and the distillery sits between the sea and mountains rich in springs. The nose is floral, with dried fruit, sweet tropical fruit, soft honey and delicate vanilla. The palate is intense, long and deep, and the very persistent finish returns to spicy notes.
