Kavalan Solist Cask Strength Port Cask

Kavalan Solist Cask Strength Port Cask is a single malt from Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan, matured in port casks and bottled at cask strength. It is not chill-filtered. The port casks shape both its colour and its flavour. It belongs to the Solist range, and the cask strength Solist bottlings won gold at the World Whisky Awards in 2020. The nose is nutty, with oak and citrus. On the palate it is sweet, with chocolate, vanilla, malt and berry fruits. The finish is of medium length, with pineapple and passion fruit.
