Kavalan – Solist Fino Sherry 2010 (70cl, 57%)

Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry is a single cask Taiwanese single malt from the Kavalan distillery in the Yilan region, part of the Solist series. It was distilled in 2010, bottled in 2017 at a cask strength of 57%, and matured in a Fino sherry cask. Only 507 bottles of 70cl were filled. The nose is led by sherry with caramel and cream toffee, with hints of chocolate and fruity touches of mango, green apple and citrus. The palate is naturally sweet and creamy, with caramel, mild buttery toffee, chocolate, rich sherry and layered fruit, plus subtle smoke and wood. The finish is long and intense.
