This is a single malt from Kavalan's Solist range, bottled at 57.8% in a 70cl bottle and matured in a Manzanilla cask.
Manzanilla is a sherry much like Fino, made by the sea where conditions suit the growth of flor even better. Here that shows as a lighter, more delicate texture with a touch of saltiness and mineral flavours, shaped by a stable, thick layer of flor, sea breezes and brine.
