A single cask Taiwanese whisky from Kavalan, bottled at 57.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 155 bottles. The whisky matured in wine barriques, using both red and white wine casks. After their time holding wine, the casks are scraped and carefully toasted before being filled with Kavalan spirit. The colour is a deep autumn gold. The nose is a rich blend of vanilla and caramelised sugar with dark chocolate, ripe melon and mango, kiwi and delicate citrus, and a little pepper in the background. The palate is clear and complex.
