Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique 2018 is a Taiwanese whisky bottled at 56.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-red and white wine casks, and the whisky was re-toasted after maturation.
The wine influence shows in plump berry, juicy plum, cooked sugar and grape. The nose brings crème brûlée, tropical fruit compote, toffee buttercream and leather, while the palate offers cherry cola, spice cake, pink pepper and minerals.
