Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique is a single malt from Yilan, Taiwan, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured solely in Portuguese red wine barriques and bottled at full strength, with no added colouring and no chill-filtration. The nose is rich and fruity, with ripe red berries, sweet spice, vanilla and toasted wood. On the palate there is cherry and dark chocolate over a slightly smoky base, leading to a long, lingering finish.
