A single malt Taiwanese whisky from the Kavalan Distillery in Yilan County, Taiwan, in a 75cl bottle.
It is matured in three different types of sherry cask, which add several sherry influences to Kavalan's fruit-forward spirit. The distillery sits in a sub-tropical climate, where annual evaporation of 12 to 15 per cent speeds the interaction between spirit and wood.
