Kavalan – Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky

Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a single malt that combines whisky aged in three types of sherry cask: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. The dried fruits of the Oloroso lead the character, with caramel and maltose sweetness alongside the distillery's tropical fruit notes. The colour is a deep scarlet. On the nose there are ripe berries and dried fruits, grapes and citrus, chocolate brownie and toffee, with cinnamon, clover, spice, oak and rosemary. The palate is warm, smooth and mellow, with sherried dried fruit, candied fruit, caramel and honey.
