Kebir is a red wine from Torrevento in Puglia, made from Nero di Troia and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a deep ruby colour and a nose of ripe red fruit, plum and cherry, with spice, tobacco and dark chocolate from maturation in barrique. On the palate, Nero di Troia brings structure and body, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds freshness and persistence, with well-integrated tannins. The finish leaves spice and ripe fruit, supported by fine acidity. It suits rich dishes such as roast meats, game and aged cheeses.
