Keeper's Heart Irish + Bourbon Cask Strength joins Irish and American whiskey traditions in one bottle. It is made from Irish pot still and Irish grain whiskey, with bourbon adding sweetness, and it is bottled at cask strength in a 75cl bottle.
The nose offers caramel, toasted oak, baking spice and soft orchard fruit. On the palate come vanilla, honeyed malt, cinnamon heat and charred oak. The finish is long and warming, led by spice with lingering sweetness.
A splash of water brings out butterscotch and malt.
