Kentucky Owl Bourbon Batch 10 is a blended Kentucky bourbon from the small-batch brand run by Dixon Dedman, whose family's Kentucky Owl heritage goes back to the years after Prohibition. The producer describes it as the largest, boldest and most robust Kentucky Owl release to date, with layered richness, assertive spice and a long finish. The nose is apple, cinnamon, warm cobbler crust, nutmeg, caramel, vanilla pudding and red pepper, with spiced apple cider. On the palate sweetness, cream and spice compete in a rich, syrupy texture. The finish is long, with the spice moving forward from the back of the palate.
