Kentucky Owl Confiscated is a Kentucky straight bourbon with no age statement, bottled at 48.2% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Its name refers to the story of C.M. Dedman, whose bourbon barrels were seized by the government on the eve of Prohibition and never recovered. Confiscated pays tribute to those lost barrels, and it was the first Kentucky Owl expression released in all 50 US states. The nose is floral, with gardenia and honeysuckle, ripe peach, orange and banana bread, over vanilla wafers, mature oak, tobacco and cardamom. The palate offers graham cracker, orange juice, white grape, toffee and cinnamon spice. The finish is medium to long, with gentle heat and a cayenne accent.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
