Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon finished in Mizunara, the Japanese oak. An aged Kentucky bourbon forms the base, and the Mizunara finish brings a Japanese element to the Kentucky Owl range. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
Takumi means artisan or master craftsman in Japanese, a name that points to the finishing as a meeting of Kentucky bourbon and Japanese cooperage. Mizunara oak is associated with incense, sandalwood and coconut character.
