An eight-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Basil Hayden, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2008 at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
Booker Noe, then master distiller at Jim Beam, was responsible for the brand, which formed part of the first Small Batch Bourbon Collection. It is named after a historical figure who pioneered high-rye whiskey in 1796, though the modern brand dates from 1992, when it carried an eight-year age statement. The statement was dropped in 2014 in favour of an "Artfully Aged" label.
