Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey (40%)

Kilbeggan is an Irish whiskey from what is described as the oldest licensed distillery in Ireland. It is distilled twice, which is unusual for Irish whiskey, where triple distillation is the norm, and it is matured in selected casks. It is bottled at 40%. The nose combines tropical fruit, sherry notes, vanilla and wood. The palate has a silky texture, a delicate toffee sweetness and a light touch of spice. The finish is sweet and creamy, with vanilla and gentle wood.
