Kilchoman 100% Islay 10th Edition is a single malt released in 2020, in which every step from barley to bottle takes place at the distillery on Islay. It is made from Optic and Publican barley.
The whisky matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose is light peat smoke with vanilla, citrus oil and warm grainy notes. The palate brings sweet malt, crème brûlée, citrus peel, honey and a hint of herbal smoke, and the finish is fresh and balanced, with Islay smoke fading slowly.
