Kilchoman – 100% Islay 10th Edition (70cl)

Kilchoman 100% Islay 10th Edition is a peated single malt Scotch whisky, peated to around 20ppm. It was distilled from the 2007, 2009 and 2010 Optic and Publican barley harvests, then matured for a minimum of nine years in thirty-nine bourbon barrels and two oloroso sherry butts. The bourbon wood brings intense vanilla and butterscotch, which sit alongside citrus sweetness and peat smoke. The sherry butts add a little body and some dark fruit. It comes in a 70cl bottle, from a run of 12,400 bottles worldwide.
