Kilchoman – 100% Islay 13th Edition (2023) (50%)

This is the 13th Edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay, a single farm single malt released once a year in a run of 13,000 bottles. It is made only from barley grown on the distillery's own Islay farm (the Publican variety), and distilled, matured and bottled there. It is bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose has light peat smoke, citrus, fresh barley and soft vanilla. The palate brings peppery smoke, malty sweetness, biscuit and floral notes, and the finish is long, fresh, clean and softly smoky.
