Kilchoman – 100% Islay 2nd Edition (50%)

Kilchoman 100% Islay is a single malt in which every step happens on the distillery's own ground. This is the 2nd edition, bottled at 50%. The barley is grown on the fields of Rockside Farm, where the distillery stands. It is malted by hand at the distillery and peated to about 25 ppm. Distilling, maturation and bottling are all done on site. The strength follows the old 100 proof tradition, which is where the 50% cask strength comes from.
