This is the 4th edition of Kilchoman's 100% Islay single malt, released in 2014. The barley was grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at the distillery itself.
The nose is subtle, with light smoke, pear drops and citrus fruit. The palate shows a good level of peat and fruitiness, very fresh and clean, and the finish is long and sweet, with smoke that carries on. It is regarded as a very good whisky for its relatively young age.
