This is a 14 year old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, made entirely from Rockside barley grown on the distillery's own farm. It is the first edition of the Family Casks series, with the whisky selected by the founding Wills family and matured in ex-bourbon casks.
It is bottled at 50.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Expect lemon zest, vanilla cream and bonfire smoke on the nose, then creamy vanilla, sweet malt, citrus oils and peppery peat on the palate. The finish brings coastal smoke, cracked pepper and soft vanilla sweetness.
