Kilchoman 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 50% in a 75cl bottle. It is the oldest global bottling in the distillery's history; Kilchoman was founded in 2005.
The whisky is a vatting of 21 casks, mostly ex-bourbon with a hint of ex-oloroso sherry. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
Tasting notes describe classic peat smoke over vanilla, honey and cooked orchard fruit, with the sherry adding dried fruit and nuttiness at the edges.
