This is the sixth official release from Kilchoman, an Islay single malt that came out in spring 2011 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was vatted from three and four year old whiskies, all from first-fill and refill bourbon casks.
Kilchoman began production in 2005 and was the first distillery built on Islay in 124 years. Floor malting, distilling, maturation and bottling all take place on site.
