Kilchoman Autumn 2009 is a single malt Scotch whisky from Kilchoman, an early bottling released in the autumn of 2009.
The nose is strongly peaty, with wood smoke and medicinal notes alongside rich dark fruits and orange. The palate is remarkably viscous, with peat smoke, dark fruits, orange marmalade and creamy toffee.
The finish is long. The peat returns in the end and leaves a clean, lingering aftertaste.
