Kilchoman – Batch Strength Single Malt Scotch (75cl, 57%)

This is a Kilchoman single malt from Islay, bottled at a batch strength of 57% abv in a 75cl bottle. A few drops of water were added after maturation to bring it to that strength. The whisky was matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. It is described as a big dram, pairing Kilchoman's natural peat smoke and citrus character with dark fruits, rich spices and a salted caramel sweetness.
