This is a single-cask Islay single malt from Kilchoman, bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the 02/2023 edition of the ImpEx Cask Evolution series, and it is non-chill filtered.
The cask was filled in November 2016. The whisky spent nearly six years in an ex-bourbon barrel, then a further 11 months in a Blanc de Blancs cask, a first of its kind for Kilchoman. The malt is peated to 50 ppm.
It was bottled in July 2023, and cask 1108/2016 yielded 237 bottles.
