Inaugural Release 1st Edition is the first whisky Kilchoman bottled and released, a single malt from Islay. The distillery was founded in 2005 and sold its first whisky in 2009. Kilchoman is a farm distillery on Rockside Farm, in the north-west of Islay. It grows its own barley near Machir Bay, and 20% of the malt comes from that barley.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
