Kilchoman – Inaugural Release 100% Islay 2011

This is the Inaugural Release 100% Islay from Kilchoman, a single malt from the 2011 edition. Kilchoman stands on Rockside Farm in the north-west of Islay and is described as Scotland's only farm distillery. The distillery grows its own barley at Machir Bay. It is also the only distillery on the island that grows and malts barley entirely on Islay for its whiskies. Kilchoman was founded in 2005 and sold its first whisky in 2009.
