A limited release Islay single malt from Kilchoman, aged for 13 years and presented in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of bourbon barrels, octaves and calvados casks.
It is described as rich in juicy fresh fruit and intense sweetness, with waves of Islay maritime peat smoke running through it.
The nose is fragrant and delicate, with fresh pineapple, hibiscus and lemon sherbet. The palate is herbaceous, with dried apple granola, caramelised puffed wheat and buttered popcorn. The finish is light, with orchard fruits and a zesty freshness.
