Loch Gorm 10 Year Old 2025 Edition is a ten-year-old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured entirely in 23 Oloroso sherry butts, 20 first-fill and three refill, hand-selected by founder Anthony Wills in the distillery's 20th anniversary year.
Kilchoman is a farm distillery founded in 2005, and the malt is peated to around 50 ppm. This edition is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is described as caramelised custard tart, roasted coffee and candied ginger. Honey-roasted figs, cloves and sticky toffee pudding follow on the palate, with a smokiness like barbecued bananas, and the finish is lingering, savoury, smoky and earthy.
