A 10 year old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, named after Loch Gorm, the peaty freshwater loch near the distillery. This 2026 edition was matured in oloroso sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martín, a mix of fresh and refill casks. It is peated to 50 parts per million and bottled at 46% (92 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
The fresh casks bring deeper sherry character, tannin and spice, while the refill casks add dark chocolate, orange peel and softer oak.
Tasting notes describe dried red fruit, toasted walnuts and peat smoke on the nose, candied orange, prunes and salted caramel on the palate, and a spicy finish with dark chocolate and liquorice.
