Machir Bay is an Islay single malt from Kilchoman, one of the island's smallest distilleries, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. The barley is grown on the distillery's own farm, and the whisky is a marriage of spirit matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
It has a golden colour. The nose shows peat smoke, citrus zest and vanilla sweetness, while the palate brings brine, malted barley and tropical fruit, followed by a long finish.
