Kilchoman – Machir Bay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Machir Bay is a single malt from Kilchoman, the farm distillery on Islay, in a 75cl bottle. It is a vatting of whiskies matured in Sherry and Bourbon casks. Kilchoman was founded in 2005 by Anthony Willis and is one of only two independently owned distilleries on Islay. It grows, malts and mills a portion of its own barley, and takes smaller heart cuts during distillation, so only a concentrated part of the spirit is matured and bottled. Butterscotch, salt, smoke and rich vanilla are the flavours it is known for.
