Kilchoman Maury Cask Matured is a limited edition Islay single malt. It is not a finish: the whisky spent its whole maturation in ex-Maury casks. Maury is a sweet fortified wine from Roussillon in southern France, made mainly from Grenache noir.
The long time in those casks has added dates, raisins and dark honey sweetness. These sit alongside the natural peat smoke and citrus sweetness of the Kilchoman spirit.
