Kilchoman Rockside 11 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured for eleven years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is described as Islay's only true single farm malt, and it is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose brings orange, lemon peel and elderflower over honeyed depth and a little maritime smoke. On the palate it has a notable texture, with tropical fruit, barley sugar and toffee apple alongside gentle peat. The finish is long, with butterscotch, walnut and ripe stone fruit.
