Rockside is a single-farm single malt from Kilchoman, the family-run Islay distillery. Every step, from sowing the barley to bottling, takes place at the distillery's home, Rockside Farm.
It is lightly peated and aged for a minimum of 11 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The peat is gentler than Islay is often known for.
The character is described as delicate and complex, with gentle smoke alongside tropical fruit, citrus peel and baking spice.
